I know a lot of you have been waiting for this to come out and I’m excited to announce that the talk has finally been released.
Becoming a TEDx speaker is one of the greatest opportunities I’ve ever had and I’m thankful to have been given the platform to speak on a subject and idea that is central to everything I do.
For those of you who know me, you know I’m never short for words, but crafting a TEDx Talk is a different beast. I’ll fully admit, getting your point across, in under 10 minutes, and hitting all your chosen points in a uniquely specific format in addition to having it be received well by your target audience sounds easier than it is in practice. But I had a blast doing it and even more fun delivering it.
Thank you to all the organizers involved in putting together such a great and impactful event. Thank you to the TED organization. Thank you to the African-American Research Library. And thank you to everyone who was able to attend or showed their support in anyway. It meant a lot.
